Training

Digital presence training

Five sessions, and your landing page, business email and newsletter are live. You build them, we guide, and you keep the skills to run the lot yourself.

Investment: $2,250 for the programme. Nine hours across five sessions: five with you, four spent preparing material built around your business. Fixed price, agreed before we start.

Generous discounts for volunteer-based non-profits and charities.

Let's talk

What you set up

Four pieces, built on mainstream tools you can afford and keep using long after the training ends. No lock-in, no platform you need us to maintain.

A landing page

Your domain, a page that explains what you do, and the know-how to publish changes to it whenever you want.

Business email

Professional email on your own domain, set up and administered by you rather than rented from someone else.

A newsletter

A subscriber list, a tool that suits your size, and your first issue written and sent before we finish.

The upkeep

Reading your visitor numbers, handling renewals, updating content, and knowing what to do when something breaks.

How it runs

Nine hours over four weeks. Five of those hours are with you; the other four go into building material around your business. Between sessions you work through a checklist written for you, so the practice happens where it counts.

1

Discovery session (1 hour)

Where you're starting from, what you need the presence to do, and which tools fit your business. You leave with a starter checklist: gather your content, register your accounts.

2

Developing (2 hours)

We build your step-by-step checklist and session material: the exact sequence for your chosen tools, written around your business rather than a generic manual.

3

Build session (2 hours)

You build the page, connect your email and set up the newsletter, guided live. Anything unfinished goes onto your checklist to complete yourself.

4

Personalised runbook building (2 hours)

We turn what you've built into your runbook: content updates, analytics, renewals, list management and troubleshooting.

5

Q&A session (2 hours)

We review what you finished on your own, resolve anything that stuck, walk through the runbook, and send your first newsletter issue.

What you leave with

  • A live landing page you built
  • Business email on your own domain
  • A newsletter list and your first issue sent
  • A runbook written for your setup
  • The skills to do it all again

Who it's for

Sole traders starting out

You've got the work but nothing online, and every quote starts with explaining who you are from scratch.

Businesses stuck with a site they can't touch

Someone built it years ago, nobody can update it, so it sits there going stale.

Teams who want it in-house

You'd rather your own people ran this than pay a retainer for changes you could make in ten minutes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be technical to do this?
No. The training assumes you're starting from nothing and comfortable with a laptop. We use mainstream tools chosen to suit how you work, and you do every step yourself with us guiding, which is exactly why it sticks.
Why would I learn this instead of paying you to build it?
Because a landing page, business email and a newsletter are things you'll want to change constantly, and waiting on a developer for a price change or a new photo is a slow, expensive way to live. When you need something bigger than that, we're still here to build it.
What do the preparation hours cover?
Four of the nine hours are us working without you: turning your business into a step-by-step build guide before the build session, then writing your runbook afterwards. It's the difference between a generic tutorial and instructions that name your tools and your content.
What if I don't finish everything in the build session?
That's expected, and it's part of the design. Anything unfinished goes on your checklist to work through between sessions, and the final session exists to review it and clear whatever stuck.
What does it cost to keep running afterwards?
Your domain and email are usually a few hundred dollars a year, and most newsletter tools are free until your list grows. We pick the tools with that in mind and you'll know the running costs before you commit to any of them.
